Built for the Plant Floor
Manufacturing facilities depend on clean, reliable uniforms and facility products to operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards. U.S. Linen & Uniform provides industrial work uniforms, flame-resistant clothing, shop towels, floor mats, mops, and other essential textile products for food and beverage processors, machine shops, wood and paper mills, plastics manufacturers, and packaging plants.
Our industrial uniform rental and linen service helps manufacturers reduce downtime, improve workplace safety, and maintain a professional appearance. We replace uniforms when they wear out. With our Star Garment Repair App, we guarantee all repairs are done so they don’t become safety hazards. We exchange soiled floor mats before they become safety hazards. We deliver clean shop towels on schedule. We manage your inventory to eliminate shortages and missing items.
Whether you operate a single machine shop or manage multiple manufacturing facilities, our dependable service keeps your team supplied with the uniforms, towels, mats, and workplace essentials they need every day. With scheduled deliveries, consistent quality, and responsive customer service, we help manufacturers stay focused on production, not on managing laundry and textile inventory.

Where In-House Linen & Uniform Services Break Down
Manufacturing uniforms face some of the toughest soils in any industry. Cutting oil, hydraulic fluid, grease, and coolant quickly penetrate fabrics, and standard home washing machines simply are not designed to remove these contaminants. As stains build up, work pants and shirts are pushed back into circulation looking worn, dirty, and unprofessional after only a few weeks.
For facilities that require flame-resistant (FR) garments, proper laundering is a matter of safety. Consumer detergents, fabric softeners, and high-heat drying can damage the protective properties of FR clothing. Without a controlled laundering process that follows manufacturer guidelines, employers may be exposing workers to unnecessary risk while increasing their own safety liability. Likewise, soiled floor mats can lose their effectiveness and become a safety hazard if they are not exchanged on a regular schedule.
In-house laundering also makes it difficult to keep track of essential shop supplies. Shop towels can disappear through accidental disposal, personal use, or simple inventory loss, leaving plants to purchase replacements more frequently than expected. A managed uniform and facility service program keeps garments clean, protective apparel properly maintained, shop towels accounted for, and floor mats replaced on a consistent schedule.
